Title: Spark Plugs
Post by: KennyGTI on 15 November 2011, 15:53
Can anyone tell me what spark plugs the GTI use on ETKA?

Revo recommended going a step cooler than the OEM ones but after reading the net I think I will just stick with OEM

Original 101 905 631 H dropped 1/11/2010 replaced with 06H 905 611

Also lists 06H 905 601 A (I think these are NGK PFR7S8EG)

These are for engine code CCZB and are priced at £13.38 inc VAT

This Is making me wonder if mine has the correct ones in as it has just been fitted with 06H 905 621 by the invoice...
Anyone know the make and model of plugs so I can check them?

Thanks for that Mike. Very much appreciated and put my mind at rest. Its a CCZB GTI mk6 2010
When I went in this morning they had the parts picked for it been a deisel not a mk6 GTI. Then this afternoon they rang to say they advised to change the timing belt as its 4 year old!
So I was not filled with much confidence in their knowledge and that they got the plugs right as they would not have been ordered in ready. Plus things rarely go right for me
Thank you very much for checking that for me.
