hi,
my wheels are looking a bit ruff, originally i thought they were rusting as it looks like bodywork does when it bubbles from rust, but having given them a scrap it looks like they have been spreyed at the paints peeling back now.
so what options do i have, cash is an issue atm but eventually ill fork out for a decent set
i guess theres powdercoating or a professional refurb, what should i expect to pay for these? the wheel seem intact apart from the finish
what about polishing or spaying them myself? i apreciate this will not give the same results, is there any info on home spaying or polishing?

home spraying can still give a good finish... just make sure you prep them really well, the end quality is all in the prep and take your time :) can save your self a load of money and still have nice new shiny rims ;)
i refurbed all the alloys on my last car before i sold it, for around £50

thanks for that,
did you clean - fill - primer - spay - laqure?
-
deep clean, sand back to a smooth surface such as bare metal fill if needed then primer paint and lacquer :) designs are endless when your doing it yourself :)

what about powder coating, is it going to cost loads?

Powdercoating is normally about £30 per wheel including blasting/dipping them
