Guys i have spoken to the owner of www.satnavsystems.com/ and he will do You all a Brand new fitted 40gb F version with all up to date maps cameras etc etc. With a 3 year warranty and the choice of where you want it fitted, either at your house,place of work or at his workshop. As you can see by his website he is no back street merchant and if you ask him he will give you names of audi and vw dealerships who he carries out work for so he is as legit as they come. The reason i asked him for this was Darren got let down by his supplier.
The price of this is £1100 fitted brand new at your convenience and with a 3 year warranty and when you take out the cost of traveling it already takes the price down to a grand. The only people i know offering this kind of service is Vag dealerships in which case he will more than likely do the upgrade anyway. I know its abit more money but you get all the above brand new and you dont have to worry about a thing as he takes care of it all.
I have used his service and must say its faultless. Oem upgrades is all they do so that speaks for its self. Some of you will want to pay cash thats up to you :wink: . Please feel free to ring him as he is a top bloke and just mention the group buy on here and that will jog his memory. Hamid is the chap you want to speak to and he is the MD of the company.
Most important thing for me was any problems with the unit he sends a technician to fix it or replaces it and i think thats worth the little bit extra so good luck with it and i hope it helps you.
