Got my retest thursday a'noon. Only a needed a new O/S Headlight as the adjuster had broke, and clean up of the wires to the dipped beam on the N/S as it had corroded. I was well happy with that as I was pretty nervous. I had changed rear discs/pads/bearings, 2 front tyres, clean up and paint the brake lines, and had to straighten out and underseal the O/S sill in preperation though.

I took mine for test this afternoon and i was well surprised. It only failed on a leaky rear coilover and drivers seat a bit loose.
I've got 2 new coily's in shed and seat just needs a bolt putting through as the riv-nut has pulled out (got MG shed R seats),so all looks good for a 12 month ticket on monday.
On a sour note I saw Ben Victors red vr6 on my way home from work at dinner time and it made mine look like a 4x4 .Once the new rear coilovers go on and settle in it'll get wound down some more
