In need of some advice here.
Firstly, please be gentle as you are replying to someone who is about as much good as mudflaps on a tortoise with computers!!
So....I have started downloading films and they are ending up in this 'Downloads' thing on my computer. What I want to do is get them from the downloads to disc so I can watch them on tv. If I go and buy some blank dvd's now what do I do to get them on to the blank dvd?
I have a Fujitsu laptop which has windows 7 if that helps?
Thanks in advance

What format are the files? avi. mp4. divx. etc...
What equipment are you playing it on? dvd player?

If your disc drive is capable of burning cd's /dvd's then the first thing you need is some burning software.
If you don't already have something, then try one of these.
All Free btw.

Simply run the program and then select the file (film) from whichever folder it is stored in - in your case "Downloads", and away you go.
As Stated above. Depending on what file format it is in, and what your DVD player is capable of playing, you may need to play around with the file format.

If you have something like an Xbox 360, you can probably just drag the download to a flash drive - plug this in to xbox - watch the film...
