Title: MK4 Golf - Clutch pedal replaced and now catching on plastic

Hi All,

I had my clutch pedal replaced on my mk4 Golf GTI yesterday and now when releasing the clutch the pedal is catching on the plastic under dash shielding. Does anyone know if the shield should be clipped or something on the left hand side?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, from memory you should have a big white clip it slides into 1st.

Bingo! Plastic had not been put back into the white clip on the left hand side.
