Title: radiator cooling fan help!!
Post by: tianaroja on 02 May 2005, 23:00
my temp gauge hasn't worked properly for ages but i have just changed the thermosensor and it appears to work perfect, but what is concerning me is in slow traffic the temp is getting up to 110 i have checked the fan and it does cut in about this temp, but if i read Haynes manual it reckons the fan is 2 speed and cuts in at 95 initially what does yours do

, i am tempted to change the switch in the radiator , by the way my car is 93 8v type 2e ,the car runs perfect though and oil temp is not getting really high perhaps i am just paranoid, but the car is always going wrong!!

My temp guage goes up to 90c then I have never seen it move any higher, engine fan cuts in tho, so I am not concerned
