Depends on whether it's aircold, T25 or T4 etc.

That's a fair point that I hadn't considered it being a camper and not being aircooled. That and my mate has just bought a sheddy T2 so I have aircooled on the brain just now

Your mate needs guidance.

The guidance involves a T25 and a Subaru motor.

Been discussed previously, but he's only gone and bought a 2ltr aircooled motor with twin 40's. It's retro innit

But I have been investigating hacked about electronic fuel injection for it as per the later Mexican imports had. Will figure something out, I've already berated him about these engines being "slow and crap on fuel".

Although there may be a cheeky volksrod lurking in his mates unit that will have something fruity in the rear.

I've got a T25 panel van converted into a camper, its also got a gas conversion. These things don't need to go fast, its a van afterall, cool just to plod along in!

I don't use it as much as I should, gonna get it all sorted out ready for next Summer after I have finished my Golf...

TBH it all depends on the van price, not too bothered either way, want a little project not a huge 5 year rebuild, i have only really just started looking so finding my way at the moment on vans... tax exempt would be nice as i have 3 cars i pay tax on already
