Title: Sony 3D TV Glasses and Transmitter
Post by: R32UK on 08 November 2011, 18:59
As per title... Has anyone got a Sony LED 3DTV??

When I bought mine i wasnt too concerned with the 3D aspect, but curiosity has finally got the better of me and I ordered the tranmitter bar and pair of active shutter 3D glasses. Just wondering what to expect in terms of quality compared to other tvs... mine will be used mainly for gaming etc

for those of you interested... and by the looks of it there were sh!t loads of you...

Got the 3D glasses and the transmitter. Its great to be able to watch everything in 3D!! however 90% of the time I cant be bothered to get glasses out and then mess around changing settings etc etc. The quality of 3D is great esp for stuff like the GP in HD + 3D, but it does seem to give me a bit of a headache after a while  :undecided:

games are also very good in 3D... esp COD, and Pro Evo.... but again if you are moving around the room it does effect the quality of the image.

Overall

7/10

I thought 3D wasn't yet HD, at least in the cinema it's not  :undecided: (not actually researched it just from what I've read about the draw backs of 3D)
