I have a 1996 Golf 1.9D and wondered if the rear back box from a Golf GTI 8v will fit??

I thought only the 1.9td has the same bore?

b.t.w google for bosal exhausts  :wink: (there catalogue lists all the bores)

 the 1.9td has the same bore as the gti 8v ,and the 16v is same as the vr6. :smug: :wink:
