That I walked 3miles over a cliff path then down onto a secluded beach, then spent 2.5hrs waiting for the Sun to melt into the sea, took just over 60 shots to get that 'Just right' one, then walk the 3miles back to the car, another 1/2hrs drive home to be greeted by the Mrs who was not happy that I had selfishly spent the last sunny day of the year with 'that bloody camera' only to press DELETE instead of Download when I plugged into the PC
I am a TW*T

If you haven't written anything else to the card, you should have a pretty high restoration rate using GetDataBack. The more you write to it, the less chance you have of recovering the data.

:(
Try and get hold of some software called image recall 5

As said, you should be able to recover a fair portion of it provided you haven't used the card since.
I used a bit of software from Sandisk to get a load of photos off a card that appeared to be corrupt.
There are lots of software tools for the job.
Hopefully you'll be ok, don't give up yet.

Doesnt the delete on the camera simply say 'this data can be overwritten'?
