i can't speak for everyone else in the forum but this happens to my discs as well, i just thought it must be the freshly exposed metal being susceptible to a bit of rust. like u it doesn't effect braking and disappears after a few steps on th the brake pedal. i wouldn't worry about a little surface rust, unless anyone else knows any different???

As far as I know this is normal as the disc steel is not protected in any way, it shouldnt be a problem and dissapears after a short drive

Completely normal! Absolutely nothing to worry about.
