anyone selling a set of monza shadows ? im looking for a spare set with tyres
-
You'll be lucky!
Easier to find rocking horse sh!t!
-
I WANT JUST ONE as I am not greedy.
Yes, I know about hen's teeth. I wish they would grow just one for me, PLEASE.
-
I need two, one due to a careless past owner and one due to a very gutted wife.
Not prepare to take out a mortgage to buy them though!
-
I had mine repaired twice. The first time they were finished fine and then, for a pukka job as I am a fussy fart, I repaired it a second time. Not a good result. Basically, buggered.
Ess_Three has a brand new set which he is selling in the Spring. Is it not Spring already? I don't know if I can wait so long. Probably buy a new one and sell my repaired one for £100-£120 on eBay.
Damn machined alloys.

I am getting itchy feet for a set of BBSs, preferably on 19s so I might sell my Monzas if the offer for all four of them was good enough. They are mint too - never been within a foot of a kerb!!!!!!

I am itching to buy them. I need one, but will take 2 and GerryD needs 2. Therefore, all 4 sold for you already. Buy the BBS wheels NOW, PLEASE.
PM me your price, please. If needs be I'll buy all 4 and sell the others on.
Oh, I'll beat any price the OP sets!
You've nearly made my night.

If i am honest I dont know. Have heard a few people refer to them as bbs split rim speelines previously.
More for show than go.. but a remap takes care of the go bit

BBS CH R in either brilliant silver of satin black, probably the latter. They certainly look similar to yours

Thats a very nice wheel!! not a bad price for bbs either. Mine are split rims so a little more expensive to purchase originally. I spoke to audi to enquire how much it was for a new set.. without tyres they wanted Just under £2.5k
Mine...

Not so similar after all, now you've posted a picture. Still, yours are sooooo smart. The BBS page on that link I posted is just like a porn site!!!!
Anyway, with those CH Rs I can get a set of 4 19 inchers with tyres for under £2k which I don't think is bad. Obviously plus extra for better tyres but still not bad.
-
Thats pretty reasonable! Would look fantastic with your rear leds and that great colour you have

I have a set in my garage that I had on the GTD but have since replaced and they are just sat here ............ three totally mint, one with a nick out of the rim, v slight and has been touched in with lacquer to prevent white worm, pics 2 and three show the nick, all with half worn tyres contisport contact, about 4mm on each all even wear,

Sorry mate when the op mentioned spare set i thought it might be just for winter. My mistake and apologies guys. More humble pie for me :embarassed:
-
I will shortly have a full set of Monza 11 (original colour) for sale complete with Hankook Ice Bear tyres, all immaculate, 2 wheels have just been refurbed due to white worm by A1 wheels. 2 tyres brand new never been on car, the other 2 done 2000 miles so at 7mm+. 1 of the wheels never been in a car. - All BBS OEM.
Prepared to sell wheels only if preferred, drop me a pm
-
Christmas has come early. That's a total of 12 OEM Monza Shadows on the market out of which 9 are perfect originals. I've got the vapours.
Spin: Are these wheels with the black inserts?

Sorry probably mislead you there replying on this thread. They are the original Monza with Grey inserts bought as a winter wheel set individually with a view to having them painted, they then arrived in very good condition and couldn't bear the though of spoiling them by painting over the polished faces, make a great second set for someone.

You naughty boy. I had to revive myself with salts.
The ledger now is:
8 Monza Shadows of which 7 are mint.
Not a bad tally for such rare objects of art.
