Title: Wanted: late style tail lights complete

Hello from way the hell over here in Los Angeles.

I've been restoring / upgrading a Mk1 GTI (Rabbit GTI here) and I want to do a conversion to the late style Mk1 tail lights you have over there.  We have these hideously long ones, really a freaking abomination.

If any of you are breaking a late Mk1 and have the complete tail lights, please let me know what you'd want for them.  I need the lenses, bulb holders, bulbs - everything but the sheetmetal they bolt to.  The leads to the bulbs with whatever connectors are on there would be a major plus.   I think all this stuff is different than the late style US spec lights on my '84 GTI.

I can make shipping is easy by just having you send to a colleague's office near Heathrow, or maybe to one of my cousins (parents are from England).

Wouldn't the fog light be on the wrong side of the car?
 Are they hot on things like that in the USA?
