I'm thinking of investing in a bluefin (the ability to revert to a stock map has a major appeal whilst my VW warranty is in place) for my (May registerred) 2010 GT TDI 140 but keep reading that the ECU is likely to be protected and it may well not work.
To save me shelling out c £4/500 on the product just to have to return it after a couple of days I just wondered if any one with a similar car/model year had been successful in using the Bluefin and if in the affirmative, have you been pleased with your investment.
Thanks
Andy

You have an anti tuning ECU in your car so sadly it wont work

Thanks Doc, I am right in saying the only way round this is for the ECU to be physically removed (which I understand is not straightforward as the ECU is securly installed) and then remapped and covers replaced etc?

That's the one - same method as my own car and the flash counters don't go up either

Thanks Doc, if your mobile services ever bring you to a job in or around London, please feel free to keep my details and PM me as I still fancy putting a few more horses under the bonnet of my TDI.
