Title: ARB/ Sway bars
Post by: mkviken on 03 November 2011, 22:37
anyone uprated their anti roll bars?

I'm going to fit a whiteline WALK kit and while I'm on was thinking about fitting a rear ARB.

the front ARB is a subframe out job but the rear is very simple so would start there. i don't want anything too stiff as i don't want a snappy back end but more point/less understeer would be nice.

anyone got any recommendations?

I fitted front and rear Eibacs on mine and a very noticable mod, so much flatter and no more body roll
Standard roll bars are made of jelly

can you remember what size you went for?

are they adjustable?

what other mods did you have to he suspension?

i will be running stander suspension part from WALK

did you fit your own? the front look a pain in the ass to fit on axle stands on the driveway!

Im not much help really

I left it to Ricci Concept who look after my car to source the best set up for my needs, all i know is that they are adjustable and thicker than the oem ones,
I already had the walk kit and KW3s fitted before the roll bars,

Gone are days of laying about on the drive and taking the skin off my knuckles

No more body roll and much more planted now, especially on track

i really can't be arsed to drop the front subframe out on my driveway so I'm just going to try a 24mm rear for now with the stock front still fitted.

the rear is a half hour job to fit but the front is a p!ss take.
