Title: get running etc

had mk1 gti 5 years now brought wiv engine in boot etc built back up at very slow pace,gonna try turn over at weekend any 1 got any pointers that might aid it firing etc took fuel pump under car and sprayed etc clean tank ,any advise welcome cheers  :smiley:

Dissconnect the coil lead and crank it over for a short while to build oil pressure.

Drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel plus a new filter, if it will not start your looking at blocked injectors or metering head.
