Title: A qs about a sharan need help

Ok sorry its not a golf but me mum and dads sharan will not reverse at all its an automatic its just stop daffled.

help would be very great full cheers.

It the gear shifter working properly? is it actually trying to engage reverse?
With any auto box problems, i would always try changing the oil and filter, although it may be too late in this case.
