Title: Mixture/CO pot settings J plate eight valve

Hi,
I understand you can set the mixture on the later Golfs - what value should this be set at as Im getting poping coming off the gas - had a new exhaust and replaced the HT leads abd I have been told it may be unburnt fuel due to the misture being a little too rich. Apart from the poping the cars seems to be running pretty smooth.

On my Corrado G60 I take off the co pot adjuster and use a screwdriver whilst monitoring the resistance with a meter in order to adjust, is it the same process? I understand the adjuster is around the air filter box somewhere ? Appreciate some advice as Id like to de this today if poss.
