would 2.0 8v one fit or any on shelf ready??
anyone know of any??
-
Quick question.
Why?
Even on the GTI a decat doesn't improve power or anything.
Then there's the MOT requirements etc etc
-
sound need more noise got a backbox on and it makes no noise :undecided:
-
Cat does minimal silencing.
Get rid of the mid box instead. Theres a silencer just after the cat you could remove.
I don't know why though, I had a 1.4 with a SS backbox on with the cat and mid box and that was unbelievably loud, let alone with no other silencers.

surely you should be driving a saxo or something?

If you seriously want a decat, I would suggest a powerflow or longlife custom job to get exactly what you want.

Little or no point in fitting one

Mine was fairly loud with a backbox on it.
Then I stripped it from the manifold straight to a universal backbox and screw me that was LOUD. Sounded a bit 1l Corsa though but down hills it used to scare people on the overrun, POP POP BANG and flames coming out.
Got a Powerflow VR6 system on it and it sounds nice.
