Title: Requirements to lowering my golf
Post by: brothy on 31 October 2011, 17:26
If i purchase some coilovers and lower my car, will i require anything else such as adjustable drop links etc ?

I just want to be 100% sure of what i need

Thanks

I'd recommend new top mounts regardless. If you're going lower than 40mm drop, you'll need an uprated ARB (like the TT front ARB). I have no expertise in adjustable drop links, so someone else will need to educate you on them, but I think they're needed if you're going real LOW

A chassis notch may also be required depending on how low your planning on going.

uprated arb shpuld be fine as said new top mounts maybe a 5mm spacer on the front wheels depending on wheel size of course  to clear the adjuster on the coilies if your going really low
