Title: Team Dynamics on black 3dr mk3
Post by: Bazza1975 on 31 October 2011, 07:27
Hi,

Has anyone got any pics of a black 3 door mk3 on 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 wheels in anthracite ? I only ask as I'm thinking of putting some on my VR6.

Cheers

Baz

Do it

I have them on my Black Polo GTI in anthracite and they look mint.

You can special order them from VWRacing and they have them made without the rim logo and mine didn't need spigot rings either.

Quick pic of the alloy in question...

I do, they are very good strong, light alloys and usually at very competetive prices against the competition. They were used in BTCC, so are definitely strong enough to handle some hard track work too.

Thanks for the help. Would I get away with 8" x 17" fitted with a 205/40/17 tyre on my VR6 ? I'm thinking 8" wide with a 205 tyre would make the side walls nice & square as I dont really like the stretched look & I don't want them to be wider than the wheel & give a balloon look, if you know what I mean.

Cheers again for any help or photos.

Stick a picture of the car and put a request in the Photoshop section. Will give u a good idea of how they suit your car then.

Baz

It would depend on the offset of the wheel and if your car is lowered?

If they are et35 you will be fine, rear arches may need a trim however.
