Hey all!
I need some advice about the Mk3 GTi 16v Anniversary Model. My bro reckons it should have nice BBS alloys and different interior from the other 16v's.
Anyone know what I should be looking out for? ???
Cheers

I own a 8v Anniversary and I think the spec for the two are the same.
They should have 16" BBS alloys with 215/40/16 tyres. Red painted calipers front and back and red gti badges.
The interior is completely different to a standard gti of the same age. The gear knob is part leather / part chrome golf ball style. The steering wheel, handbrake and leather around gear stick all have red stitching. The speedo / rev counter have white faces.
Hope this helps.

the difference from a normal gti is massive here are a few
1.front bumber/fog lights
2.coloured gti badges
3.interior is chequered gti logos
4.stainless door lifters
5.tinted windows
6.golf ball gear knob
7.white dials
8.red break calipers
9.bbs split rim alloys 16"
10.red seat belts
11.leather steering wheel and hand break

Cheers guys! I was looking at a car that the bloke claimed was an anniversary model...but it's obviously not.
Thanks for the help!

don't forget that even the badges are different. they have a great big GTI in red on the back of the car and a similar one on the front grill, I think its in a different style to the normal GTI script.
Very nice cars but I don't see why people are tarting up other GTI's to make them look the same.

If the car really is an Anniversary model it should say so under the model/type on the V5 document.
