i have checked the wheel fitment guides but im still not sure so i'll ask.
i will be buying my dads mk4 gti in the near future and i am looking to fit some amg wheels i have. i know there 5x112 pcd and the golf is 5x100 so would need stud adapters but i want to make sure there is room for the adapters with the offset.
the wheels i have are 17x7.5 et 37 front and 17x8.5 et 30 rear
can i fit these wheels
thanks for help,

It's going to be tight with the offset, your adaptors are going to be about 20mm reducing your offsets to ET17 & ET10 :undecided:
Is it lowered?

Going to be very tight with those offsets.

Not really, et10 is going to so so close, your going to need to pull / flare the arches.

depends on a lot of things...but mainly the people who flare them

Another option is to buy wheels that fit, a lot less ballache.

thats some work. camber shims on the back might bring them in a little more.
you could get some metal machined of the back of the wheels. i know that a mates done this to make some wheels fit
