Title: heated seats, is this normal?
Post by: VeeDubGTI16v on 30 October 2011, 12:16
Since owning the mk4 the heated seats have only really worked on the 5th heat setting, with the 4th being barely noticeable and 3,2,1 producing no heat whatsoever. This is also the case for the passenger side so this doesn't indicate it's through wear as the drivers side should be worse. Do the potentiometers wear out in the switched or something? Maybe the leather is too thick?

Does anyone have similar with theirs? it gets bloody hot on 5!
