Title: If i get a Revo Remap, will anything bad happen after? i.e Upgrade sum parts?

Will i have to upgrade any thing to keep up with the remap on my 1.8T AUM? its 2002 with 99K On the clock?

going from 150BHP to 202BHPish?

A forge 007p is a must. When did you last change your clutch?

Ive had mine mapped and clutch is fine at 73K.  I'd just wait til it goes then upgrade it  :wink:

I would not use a revo remapĀ  :lipsrsealed:

I can recommend: http://www.wagenworx.co.uk/ he is local, well pleased with mine.

You will need a Forge DV.

That could be a long list  :grin:

To be fair when you stick 200+ Bhp through a 9 year old 1.8t that started life with 150 bhp you'll find a few  components will either give up the ghost or, like the DV valve won't be unto the job in the first place or will have failed but you don't know until you dyno them such as the MAF oh and then there's the boost leaks.....

No matter who you buy your map from this is simply how it is mate so crack on and think about the fun of racing mk6 GTIs (on the track) :wink:
