Title: jurking when driving

I have a 96 GTi 8 Valve it drives perfect for a short while but say after about a day or to it starts to jerk when you accelerate in the gears. this is immediately cured if i change the fuse that protects the fuel pump & the lamba sensor. start the car up and immediately it is cured. the car once again ticks over with out a miss and accelerates so smooth again till a couple of days later same again. any one have any idea, I have changed the fuel pump relay and the 30 relay, but it seames to be the fuse thing that is causing this problem but just need to know how and what top do to correct it please.

sounds like a wiring or faulty earth problem. if you dont know anything about auto electrics, would recommend seeing an autospark
