How did you get the sh1te coming into your eyes from the hood if you were driving ?  I think I'd find out what it is and where its coming from too. :undecided: Do you mean the tonneau cover that you want to know how to put on ?  :undecided:

Okay sit tight, I may bore you.  This is doing my car and it's a '91 so maybe different on older cabs but I dont know for sure.  :undecided:

1) Put the roof down first, obviously.
2) Open boot
3) Top left there is (might be) a black plug thingy, pull that
4) Now take down the back seats, there should be a strap poking out of the passenger sides back seat, if there is no strap then you can pull the catch back with your fingers.
5) Shut boot and on the cover at the back there should be two small metal rods, insert these into the fabric hooks on the roof itself
6) Place the cover over the roof and make sure that the black caps that should be on the front of the cover are over the folded roof bits.
7) There should be some press studs on the cover, these press into the press studs on the side of the roof next to the back window.
8 ) You may possibly have some straps on the hood cover with studs on them thes clip onto the studs on the black panel behind the seats (this is why you have to pull the back seats down)
9) You may have some velcro strapps on the cover, these fold under parcel shelf and stick to that. If you dont have these dont worry as mine dont strap there well and I've driven on the motorway without them on and the cover will not fly off.
10) Push seats back up and the cover should be on and secure

Fairly simple when you've done it a couple of times, hope this helps, apologies for it being long winded.  Any probs, then just ask.

EDIT: You cannot pull the back seats back unless the boot is open and the plug thingy in number three is pulled out, this is so that you can leave the roof down and people cannot get in your boot as the plug thingy is pushed in when the boot is closed.
