My thoughts exactly, not saying its not a good price for what you have to pay but 36,425.00 is just plain wrong for any Golf.

Perhaps evo has forgotten to put the discounted price on for what must be a stock car therefore a cancelled order?

It's not expensive as it's fully loaded. However as it is unfortunately 'frig on wheels, I am only willing to pay £30k (cash) for it.

Nice motor would love to own an R , better than the RS3 looks top when I see one love them in blue!

Better than an RS3? I don't see how? The RS3 is in a different performance class and better build quality. Not trying to start an Audi/VW argument I just dot think that the R is in the same class as the RS3.

RS3 look drab , yes it be faster but it dosn,t look as nice as the R , I would take an R over an RS3 anyday and map it!! :wink:

Try driving one you may change your mind even when an R is remaped.

GTD, GTI, Ed35 and R, all good cars and each serves a purpose. I would be happy with any of these.
S3, RS3: No comment.
