Ok,can someone offer some advise.
problem-driving along, come to junction or round about, change down gear, apply the throttle and there is nothing there, keep it on and it suddenly kicks in,keep throttle down and is fine, lift throttle and put down again no power.
stop at lights,go to pull away engine cuts out, starts straight away, after that it can go a day or so with no problem?
rotor arm,dizzy cap,ignition coil,leads,plugs all good
fuel pump solenoid changed

Do all of this in order of cheapness
1.clean the throttle body
2.check all vacum hoses
3.check your lambda sensor
4. get a vag com test done
5.check small hose to ecu from throttle body
6.Check all earth points on engine and under battery tray
7. check battery it self
8. Try another coil
9. a good service plugs, leads check distributor cap and rotor arm.
10. REplace ecu and fuel relay no. 30 and 167
Hope this helps
