Title: tyres.... i know i know....

i currently have a spare set of 225/45/18 ready to replace my current tyres. i'm looking at a set of wheels on ebay which have different tyre width -

the wheels are et35 fronts and et40 rears

would the tyres i have not fit?

no idea all it says is et35 fronts and et40 rears

The width of the wheel is what is important. The offset doesn't mean much without a width to work from. Try and find out what width the wheels are and then we'll know if the tyres will fit correctly.
