What are the 2 rubbery little up/down knobs next to the aircon switch. I've played with them but to no avail

Am I the only one who had a childish giggle at the OP playing with his rubber knobs?
-
 Sadly not I stooped to the same level then scrolled down to see you had too.
-
It's too dark now, I'll get a pic of my knobs in the morning
They are just 2 small buttony things. One on top of the other.
How do I put a pic on here?

Tried playing with them with the air con on but didn't notice any change?

Looks like they are from an aftermarket alarm?
Have you got one? i got them when i installed my clifford alarm..
-
Aaha!
Yes, I have a Clifford alarm. There is a Clifford red light next to them. It's not working, as I need a new fob and to get it set up again. What would they do if the alarm was set up?
-
It's another way of alarming and disarming the alarm and other functions i think.
It all depends on what alarm you have. If you find out which one you have you can get the instruction manuals from here: http://www.clifford.com/Support/Guides.aspx

Thanks!
I have no idea what one I have. No paperwork for it. Was gonna wait til I had some spare cash and then pop into a local Clifford installer.
Cheers for solving the mystery
