Hey folks, off work this week and today since it was kinna sunny, i decided to hoover the car. Almost an hour into hoovering i got to the passenger side rear footwell and i noticed the hoover sucking up water, it was absolutly soaking! Like if i pressed my finger into the floor i could see the water sorta seeping :( the front footwell is bone dry and the windows were up, ive no idea where the water got in, altho when i opened the door i noticed rainwater sitting right across the door seal, so thats the only place i noticed that was wet.
Got straight onto the phone to VW and booked it in for next Wednesday to get that looked at, as well as 4 other problems, lets jus hope they dont give me a polo as courtesy car as theyr tiny !
Its gonna be in for over a week, i remember reading that the sound proofing in these things holds a tonne of water, so i hope its replaced and perhaps a new carpet put in if it starts to smell/go damp :(
So if like in Belfast, you had ALOT of rain this week, go out and check under ur mats :)
