Title: wont stay started

When i start the car i have to keep the key turned to keep it running as soon as i let go it cuts out can anyone tell me what it is.  :cry:

haynes says

1. loose or faulty electrical connections in the ignition curcuit

2. vacuum leak

3. blocked injector/injection system fault

sounds like a faulty ignition switch, but could any of the above

Glad you found the problem mate, I have had the same problem on my MK2, and was the switch
