You'll have to ask him but I believe it helped with performance but made little difference to the sound  :undecided:

you will also need a reducer from 3" down to 2/75"  i believe.

performance increase yes due to more flow, but the standard exhaust has some pretty impressive silencers on it!

That's what I'll be running except with a sports cat but standard back box and tail pipes.

What about if you take the middle box out and run straight through to the backbox?

If its the same set up as the Leon Cupra which I believe it is the centre pipe from a diesel will fit it. Which is silencerless. I put one on mine and it made it a bit raspier although I haven't got a 3" downpipe or decat. Part was like £12 if I mind right from local motor factors. You see them advertised as 'race tubes' on ebay for like £40.

Think its advertised as a pd130/140 middle pipe?

Someone confirm/correct me if im wrong.

i done it, turbo spools proper loud and there was a slight increse in power, but sounded the same tbh, the main improvement in performance and sound was when i put the anni exhaust on (cat back) but i still think it is holding back a nicer note and a touch more power so i am going to be removing the centre box sometime in the near future.....
