They look good, Nokia really got left behind about 4-5 years ago, there was one point were I'd only have a Nokia, since I changed there hasn't even been a slight temptation of a Nokia phone.
I do like windows 7 phones though
-
I used to love my Nokia's but they got really sh!t for me around 2003/204 when I got a Samsung with camera and full colour screen etc
These do look damn sexy, esp. in the Blue/Cyan

They do look a bit Fisher-Price my first smart phone TBH.

Having worked on the music app for the last few months, I'm glad it's getting a generally positive response from people out there! Makes a change from the usual kicking we're more used to receiving :undecided:
The polycarb body is strangely nice to hold, and the screen is lush. Plus I'm a fan of WP7... :nerd:

+1, doesn't seem as grown up as the other smart phones. I wouldn't fancy whipping out a bright yellow phone in a public place tbh.

Rest your fears of whipping out a bright yellow phone as there are Black, Blue or Pink models.
I think it's a refreshing style and better than some of the other Smartphones, which are more Fisher-Price like

As much as I like HTC's the Titan is just too samey as their Android phones:

They need more designs because they are getting bland now.

Fingers crossed they'll be good. Healthy competition is never a bad thing.

:afro:
Without competition pushing the boundaries and even crossing boundaries we'd all still being using the original IBM 'PC' or Apple IIe's

 So true. I used to love Nokia's, were the only make I'd own. Then they started to lack compared to the Sony Ericsson's so I had a few of them after that. Then Apple from there.

I write about Nokia most days, and pre-ordered a 800 earlier today from Phones4U but cancelled straight away as at the moment Orange are giving away a Xbox360s with every pre-order.

Any good?

Pretty sexy compared to anything I have used before. Mango is good on any device, but this one shows it off really well. And it's built like any other Nokia device, well.

Word on the street is that the Lumia 800 has terrible battery life. Barely lasting a day - that's without any apps running and making a few calls, texts etc.
A software update is on the way.
Reviews seem to agree that the phone is great.

I can agree with this. Once charged, it says it will last around 27 hours, and it last just a day, but when i used the device for listening to music for around 2 hours, then a video for 30 minutes, it died after around 14 hours.

Well Charge, as the early adopter on the Fourm, we shall wait for your review. :nerd:
I'm up for a change from Blackberry and this has taken my fancy.
Keep us posted.

If you haven't played with WP7 before, it's a lovely change from iOS, Blackberry, etc. It's Mango, and if you don't follow WP7 much it's got over 500 new features from the original phones that came out last year, and a huge amount of big fixes. They are already sorting out updates for the battery and the camera, both which need it to be honest. Other than that, having a built-in satnav (that's also getting an update, off-line navigation!) and tonnes of apps available it's awesome.
Ill keep you posted on updates to the device and how much it changes.
Should've pre-ordered, you would've got a free xbox 360 slim from Orange.

I quite like the blue one, will see whats around from end of Jan onwards when I can upgrade.
