Title: some advice pls
Post by: m1tchvdubz on 19 September 2003, 17:11
hi pple

dont know if anyone has had this before but my mk2 has been making a rumbling noise underneath and it feels like it is coming from btween the wheels.  I cant do more than 40 on the clock.  I thought it might be the camber or lost its tracking but the rumblin sound is too load so any advice most appreciated.

Thanks in advance

do you mean you cannot do more than forty without the sound getting too loud or the car will not do more than forty cos of the problem.???

does sound like the whell bearing though easiest way to check is jack up your car adn grab the wheel and push and pull towards you - if it is loose usually means wheel bearing has gone.
