might be looking at swapping the rover 114 gta for a corsa b sri 1.4 16v, who's had one and what are they like to own/drive?

sold loads of em watch out for rust on cross members and rear suspension mounts.
the vauxhall ecotec engine or as known in the trade ecosh!te
need a cambelt every 40 thousand
headgasket failure common
engine management light = egr valve unless blanked off

Gotta be better than a metro ,just make sure you check everything,rust and straitness,my next door neighbour bought one and couldnt work out why it pulled to the left even after being tracked,so i measured the wheelbase both sides and it was a massive 2 inches difference lol,been in a frontal smash hadnt it check the panel gaps etc ,these things get a hard life so beware  :smiley:

uhrm, let me think, can't afford one?

i'm working up until xmas, going to pay insurance off then save for a new car, then hopefully have a job as soon as possible and save for a fabia vrs

half decent engine and they go alright but horrible to drive on standard suspension. seats are comfy and should have leccy windows, mirrors, pas being an sri model.

a lot of thrashed ones about and check for rust / cracks on the b-pillar, under arches and sill

Corsas are a complete and utter bag of sh!t mate.  If a Metro is dog sh!t with diarrhoea in it, a Corsa I guess would just be 5 day old dog sh!t maybe?  :undecided:

had one when i first started driving thought it was good fun to drive. then after owning a few golfs i got back in one and realised they are dreadful! still at least you wont mind if you bash it  :tongue:
