I could do with a new cam shaft in my 1.4 CL as it sounds pretty tappety now. I can't seem to find one for my specific engine anywhere at all it's always 1.6 cams and above! The only other option I've found is performance cams but they are like £250! Do not want.
Saw this on eBay and I thought I'd ask you guys if this would work in my 1.4 like it claims. My guess is not... but you never know

Don't flame me
Thanks again guys

A new cam may not be the answer!
Oil and filter change first!

I've done that, tried a few different grades of oil. The best I've found to quieten it down was valvoline 20-50 (spelling?) Changed the filter and it's even had a brand new oil pump fitted. Even changed the cam followers :)
Gotta be a new cam now right?
If I could afford to just get a 1.6 or something then I would but insurance costs and the initial layout for the car would destroy me on student money :undecided:

In that case, probably!
Good luck finding something suitable.

I have no idea! Cant read ebay at work!
All I will say if its cheap it aint worth buying! A decent cam is expensive.

Nope that cam will not fit.
Get your oil pressure checked as a next step.
