Im thinking there is no way they will fit.

Am i right? Or what changes can be done to make it fit?

buy an adaptor converting your 4x100 to that. you may have to get them made but thats the easiest way to get them on your car. don't forget that the adaptor will make the wheels stick out further so make sure you have enough clearance to get them under your arches!

Without losing one of the five attaching bolts, you may find it difficult to engineer an adaptor due to the holes clashing.  Just out of interest, what wheels are they?  5x108 and 5x110 exist but I've been in this game for 10 years and never heard of 5x109.

From a BMW 8 series. Too much effort and cost has made me shelve the idea. Thanks all for the info.

Just for reference, BMW 8 series is 5x120 not 5x109 and the offset is quite low in the first place (et10 - et20).  Fitting these to a golf with an adaptor would cause then to sit way out in the wheel arch.  Sorry.
