Hi all! :laugh:ÂÂÂ
Just bought myself a mk111 golf, its a 1.9 diesel. Makes my mouth water with all you lot with GTIs. lol. But its my first car, and i aint passed my driving test just yet, just got through my theory yesterday.
So now im looking for any ideas to make it faster, at a cheap cost. All help welcome. Oh, and ive been promised a new set of alloys for my car as a passing present... any recomendations?
Cheers ma' dears.

hello
don't know a thing about making deisels faster, soz.
For alloys i'd get some nice vw or audi ones cos i think alot of aftermarket alloys make golfs look less classy. imho.
-
TY.
Dont even know if its possible to make it faster, but this is the place to find out.
Been after a golf for years, just had to have one, so long as the engine was a decent size. I'll have a look at those wheels, ta hunny.

not really much you can do to a diesel to make it faster, except look after it and bolt on a turbo, but then that isn't really an option.
As for wheels, for a mk3 you really want a set of alloys that are probably 12 spoke maximum as the more spokes there are on a mk3 the worse it looks IMO.
Something like some TT wheels, or some 5 spokes would suit it nicely.
Try http://www.styledynamix.co.uk/ or http://www.dubmeister.co.uk/ they usually have some good setups for cars.
Remember the PCD on a mk3 is 5x100 (generally unless early model) so be careful to ask when you are buying.
