Corrado VR6 - About £90 extra per year.
Corrado G60 - About £40 less per year.
MK2 16V - about £30 less per year.
Polo GTI 2001 - about £100 less per year.
Hmmmm.
I'm thinking 16V or G60. Are VR's VERY thirsty?

Meh.. lol.
So what MPG could I expect?
My 20VT does between 30 and 42 depending on driving style.
-
you'll be lucky for 30 at best i reckon... could be wrong though!
-
probably 35mpg if you drive like a tart and a really light on the accelerator.. but probably about 25 if you drive normally lol

Remember you are comparing a new car against old. A Supercharger is mechanically controlled on the G60's with a belt and fuel is dumped in to meet demand, where as a turbo's fuel map is precisely controlled by the ECU so can be varied despite what speed the turbo may be spooling to.
