not sure if non gti's have pre-drilled arches or not? If they dont you will need to drill some holes for the rivets to go into, but other than that it is easy to fit the arches...couple of rivets and a screw (I think) near the sill.

Hi ,

Thanks for that - there are a number of holes in the arch rim (very small diameter)

So I need a rivet gun hey - i thought there may be some bolts going straight through the wing which would be a nightmare to drill in the right place (I remember doing this with an MG Metro that had threads built in to the arches and you had to 'guess' where to drill)

SOunds like the rivets and some glue will do the trick.

Do you know if the arches will integrate with the none GTi rubbing strip?  I'm not after perfection, just looking to tart up my rusty TDi workhorse - as apart from the dreaded mk3 rust, its very tidy

Cheers

there is no glue on a standard gti, just the rivets

cheers Dave..

Do you think fitting the arches without sill covers will look a bit crappy?

Not sure how easy it is to source sill covers
