Post by: mk2addict on 22 October 2011, 16:52
I'm doin a abf conversion on my mk2. Now the engine is out I want to tidy up the wiring and maybe put battery in boot, I've seen mk2 were they have hidden the exspension tank and either done away wiv or hideen the washer bottle how and where to they put these?

Remember if fitting the battery in the boot it needs to be a sealed unit with a vent pipe to the outside.

Oh yea see now in vw performance mag this month the black abfd mk2 has a filler cap in the coolant hose is that all I need? What about room for exspension? And where would u take a vent pipe out? Through the floor maybe ?
