And i already have the sinking feeling of regretting spending that money.

Although i dont have it working yet!

Umm, it's really not tricky.
What are you waiting for ?

Got ours on Tuesday, did the iOS5 update on Thursday night (took 4 attempts).

Got ours on Tuesday, did the iOS5 update on Thursday night (took 4 attempts).

To get home to my computer to plug it in. lol.

You don't need to plug them in, unless they gave you old stock with 4.3.5 on?

Indeed. Still iPad 2 but needed to update to ios5. All sorted now!

what apps you got on it? I would highly recommends av player HD. It's 1.99 but its a brilliant media player which plays all sorts of formats.

I use Flexplayer.  Available from the app store and plays every movie type I throw at it.

I didn't get why I would want a tablet before as well as a laptop. But now I do!

Bought mine in the states in June and I hardly ever turn the laptop on now! I love it! Haven't updated to ios5 yet though.

yes they did. av player hd can play 720p mkv files flawlessly. VLC on the ipad had some problems with that particular format.

Had mine 4 weeks now and only use me laptop now to sort me I-tunes out  :wink:
