Title: Leaking petrol

Just realised my GTI is leaking petrol, looks as though it's coming from the fuel filter, underneath the car on the side near the petrol cap.

I have the RAC coming tomorrow to take a look and then maybe they will have to recover it to VW.

Any ideas how simple a job this might be to fix for an RAC bloke?

I'm a bit worried because of petrol leaking around! There's a trail of it all the way from where the car is parked to the road outside the house!

Should be a simple fix, the fuel filter may have split or a clip come loose.
