Thanks tazzy. just clean no prep?

basically, get a wire brush and sand paper/foam thingy, clean off any crap, dirt, brake dust, grease etc, dry and wipe down so theyre perfectly clean, the paint will be fine, the blue paint i used actually resisted to the heat and bubbled, the red paint seems to have a better resistance

Smoothrite will do the same job.
