Title: erratic revs then cutting out whilst driving. Video attached.
Post by: Misky on 21 October 2011, 09:20
On my way to work this morning I had a real battle with the car, cut out over 5 times after erratic reving. It made the car undrivable. I know I shouldnt of really took a video but it can say more than I can. It was a private road  :lipsrsealed:

Its the first 5 seconds of the video that you can see the revs acting this way.
My thoughts are coil pack?
Yours?
Thanks.

crank/cam sensor to me at least.  Worth checking the crank (below the oil filter) for broken wiring.
