My car has the symptoms of either the fuel pump sensor, or the crank speed sensor being faulty, so i'd like to change these.
anyone got a good how to, or can tell me how simplistic these jobs are?
Thanks
also, where do I get some at a good rate?

What car and what are the symptoms?
-
Best way to describe it is like it sometimes runs like its just about to run out of fuel
-
the mk3 doesn't have a fuel pump sensor. Can you describe the symptoms better - could be many things. Does it do it when hot / cold? Cuts out at idle? Lumpy idle? etc? Under load/ off load?

sorry to be vague, been using my phone.
Anyway,
it judders badly, only occasionally is it like it though, struggles for power, the rev counter still goes up, but you can tell quite clearly you aren't doing the speed it says you are. I only tend to drive with myself in the car. has a few flat spots across the rev counter.
It does idle a little rough, but nothing major
it's a MK3 8v GTI btw

Might be worth cleaning the throttle body 1st.
Also unplug the maf and see if it runs better.

I unplugged the MAF and it just idled like a bag of carp. What's the best thing to clean my throttle body with matey?

this is a good place and decent on price.
had a few sensors from them in the past and been fine.

Have you tried replacing relays 30 and 167?

I might just replace all the commonly faulty parts tbh. elminates any potential problems then!
