Title: Any CS fans?
Post by: Ninja on 20 October 2011, 18:01: I used to play CS back in the day - waaaay back in the day.

I played through 1.3 to source. But kind of just gave up after playing source for a while.

Has anyone seen CS:GO? Looks pretty smart.

Anyone picking it up?

I used to be in a pretty big clan on 1.6, was called ReG^ (reckless gaming) which was pretty high ranked in the UK ladder. Was admin on the servers for a while then game up. Came back a few years later but on source and last year I joined INC which is a pretty decent clan. Was sever rep for quite a while but then quit as I gave up playing CS again. I play it often but only a couple of rounds, don't really get excited over it anymore. However this new one looks awesome, and CS is the best FPS game IMO as there's none of this achievements sh!t as you said.

From my very poor memory I think I started at 1.4 but not sure, it rings a bell. Absolutely loved and will be getting the new one if anything for old times sake.

I used to wank myself silly to maps Assault and Militia, loved them.

gave up playing cs a long time ago though, the servers are full of nerd raging kids who play it 24/7
